Gmail SMTP / POP / IMAP issue

Gmail is the most popular email service around the world due to its extensive availability. The Gmail account is accessible using any web browser. Users simply need to log in before accessing their accounts. The Gmail email server name, “imap.gmail.com,” is required by the client in order to connect the account. IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol)

The native Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL) commands, IMAP AUTHENTICATE, POP AUTH, and SMTP AUTH, are used to authenticate users. The SASL XOAUTH2 method allows clients to input OAuth 2.0 credentials for authentication. The protocol documentation for SASL XOAUTH2 has a thorough description of the SASL XOAUTH2 technique, and there are libraries and samples that have the protocol implemented.
