If you’re experiencing problems with your iCloud Mail account, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the issue. First, make sure that you’re using the correct iCloud Mail settings. If you’re not sure what those are, you can find them by logging into your iCloud account and going to the Mail settings page.
Next, try restarting your device. This can sometimes clear up any minor glitches that may be causing problems with your mail. If that doesn’t work, try deleting and re-adding your iCloud Mail account on your device. And if all else fails, you can always contact Apple Support for help.
If the problem is on Apple’s end, the status page will indicate as such and you can do nothing but wait for the company to resolve the issue. However, if the status page shows a green light, then it’s likely that the problem is on your side. In that case, check the following:
1. Make sure iCloud Mail is turned on
Check to see if your iCloud Mail is turned on by going to Settings on your iPhone, tapping your name, and then tapping on iCloud. If the Mail option is turned off, toggle it on.
2. Make Sure You Have Enough Storage on iCloud
One possible reason why iCloud Mail might not be working on your iPhone is because you don’t have enough storage space on iCloud. To check, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap on your name, and then select iCloud. At the top, you’ll see how much storage space is being used for different types of files. To get more details, tap on Manage Storage.
When you set up your iCloud account, you get free 5GB of storage. If that’s full and you need more space, you can upgrade your storage plan and purchase additional storage.
3. Enable Fetch New Data on iPhone
If you’re not receiving iCloud mail regularly, it could be because the Push setting for new data is turned off. This feature automatically checks the server for new mail/data, so if it’s turned off, your device won’t receive new information as often. If your iCloud mail isn’t working properly, this may be the solution.
Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data and turn on Push. You can also choose how often the Mail app fetches data – Automatically or Manually.
4. Update Software to the Latest Version
If you’re having trouble accessing your iCloud mail, it could be because your software is out of date. If your iOS version is too old, it might affect your iPhone usage. So, make sure that the device you’re using is up to date.
5. Check to see if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is having any issues.
You can do this by playing a video on YouTube, opening Snapchat, or simply browsing the internet. If you can’t do any of these things, then there may be an issue with your ISP and you should contact their customer support.
