If you discover account data or changes that you don’t recognize, receive an account notification from Apple for a change you didn’t make, or if you receive any other suspicious notifications, your Apple ID may have been compromised. For example:
You get a notification or email that your Apple ID was used to login in to a computer that you are unfamiliar with or haven’t signed in to recently (for example, “Your Apple ID was used to sign in to iCloud on a Windows PC”).
You forget changing your Apple ID password, but Apple sends you a confirmation email stating that your account information has been updated.
Someone other than you locked or put your device in lost mode.
