How to Setup Comcast Email in Outlook (Mac)

Check if you are entering an incorrect username or password for your account.

Locate Outlook below the applications in Finder.

Choose ‘Tools’ and then tap on ‘Email Accounts.’

To begin setting up a new account, tap ‘Add a new email account’ and then hit Enter.

Input the required information in the appropriate box. Type your email address.

Specify the Server Information. From the dropdown menu, select ‘POP3’ and input mail.comcast.net. Select ‘SMTP’ for the outgoing mail server and input smtp.comcast.net.

Type your user name and your password in the relevant boxes.

Ensure the proper functioning of your account by tapping ‘Test Account Settings.’

Give a name to your account by tapping ‘More Settings’ and then tapping ‘General.’
